Agra the city has been blessed by the visit of four Sikh Gurus and there are various Gurudwaras in Agra city which are related with this history. In the older lanes of Agra another Sikh Gurudwara called as Maithaan which is also related to Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib. This you can visit in Taj Mahal Day Tour. An old lady Mata Jassi used to live here she was an ardent devotee of Guru sahib and with her own hands she wove a piece of cloth which she wanted to herself present to the Guru Sahib, Guru Sahib listening to her prayers  came to her residence to accept the offering. The tenth Sikh Guru Guru Gobind Singh after the death of Mughal King Aurangzeb was invited by the Mughal Emperor Muhmmad Shah. Guru Sahib along with his devotees camped very near the Agra Fort and a small Gurudwara called as Haathi Ghat stands at this blessed place. Apart from these places Guru Gobind Singh was invited to the Agra Fort and was welcomed by the Mughal Emperor in personal. He even took part in a battle at a place called Jajau where with his help Muhammad Shah defeated his adversaries.
